This bike is one of the very few LAMS approved middleweight touring/adventure bikes, well known for its bullet-proof reliability and touring capabilities of which this is an excellent example.
This particular V-Strom 650 is in excellent condition and comes equipped with a number of aftermarket accessories to improve its touring capability and overall rider enjoyment:
- GIVI Monokey Pannier frames (Pannier cases not included)
- GIVI Monokey Top Box Mount (Topbox case can be included for extra)
- GIVI AirFlow Adjustable wind screen
- GIVI Aluminium Skid Plate
- GIVI Crash Bars
- MC Performance full stainless exhaust (Stock exhaust will be included in sale for roadworthy/LAMS requirements)
- Heated grips
Maintenance wise the bike had a major service complete at 30,000 km:
- Valve clearances checked and adjusted
- Forks Services (Seals and oil replaced)
- 4 x Spark Plugs replaced (two per cylinder)
- Brake fluid flushed and replaced
- Air filter replaced
This is an excellent all rounder, capable in the twisties and extremely comfortable on longer trips, I've used it both as a daily commuter and for a number of long distance touring outings. You wont be disappointed on this bike, the 650 V-Twin one of the best sounding LAMS-legal bikes available, particularly amongst bikes in the LAMS approved adv/touring segment. With the baffle fitted the aftermarket exhaust is still great on the freeway too on those longer trips.
I'm only selling as I have moved on to something a little more dirt orientated, and I don't have room for multiple bikes, so I'm moving this one on to be enjoyed by someone else.
Roadworthy can be provided at buyers expense on agreement of sale with deposit.
