Selling my 2015 Kawasaki W800 SE (aka Black Edition). There are not many on the market. This bike is in excellent condition and includes some modifications you will struggle to find elsewhere. Modifications & other details: - Full SC Project titanium exhaust system (the W800 has a fully welded exhaust system, so if you see any slip-ons, the pipes were cut). The SC system significantly reduces weight and sounds far better without being obnoxiously loud. - Full aftermarket suspension by Ikon Suspension, NSW. The bike came from the first owner with lowered suspension (which I still have). The IKON set notably firms up sponginess on the OEM setup, resulting in far more capable cornering. - Custom seat, upholstered and with new cover by Ellaspede Custom Motorcycles Brisbane. - Headlight cowl. This is the "Mini Rocket" cowl by Chic Design Japan, made to order in Japan specifically for this bike. - Aftermarket grips, mirrors and fully adjustable shorty levers. - Rego until 12/26. - I will obtain an RWC before any sale. This bike can be viewed in The Gap. Brisbane. Test rides at my discretion. I am the second owner from new, having bought the bike in 2018 with less than 2,000 km on the clock. It has now a tad over 27,000 km, which is next to nothing for this sort of engine. The bike is always garaged and on trickle charger, when not ridden. I have done oil changes about every 5,000 km, including filter, and I only use full synthetic oil for all my bikes. Valve clearances were checked and adjusted at 12,500 and 25,000 km (the second one last year). The W800SE is a bulletproof bike that is ridiculously cheap to run. It will never let you down as a daily or on long tours, while looking more authentic than most "retro" naked bikes, in line with the model heritage. This bike is regularly ridden and otherwise sits on a trickle charger, which I'm happy to include in the sale. Mileage will still go up very slightly as long as the bike isnt sold. The reason for this sale is that I have two bikes and due to other obligations not enough time to ride them both sufficiently anymore. Slightly negotiable depending on the resolve of the buyer.
