Up for sale is my 2014 DRZ400E. The bike has super low kilometres (around 3,600 at the time of this ad going up), it's in excellent condition, serviced regularly and it has heaps of extras.
The bike is currently sitting on 17 inch supermoto wheels with Michelin Road 6 (less than 200km on them). For the asking price the bike will also come with the original 21/18 inch wheels (fitted with Michelin D606s - less than 500km use on them).
The bike has been regularly serviced. The carb was serviced and cleaned in January 2026 including new o-rings, seals and a JD Jet Kit. Most recent service (March 2026) includes:
- Full forks service including new seals
- Oil and filter change
- New Air Filter
- New spark plug
The bike runs excellent. It's smooth with plenty of power. A few scratches on the plastic here and there but nothing unusual or unexpected for a dual-sport bike.
The bike also comes with heaps of extras:
- 17L Safari tank (350km + range)
- Barkbusters
- B&B case protectors
- RHK footpegs
- Pro taper handlebar (super comfortable)
- RPM meter
- 310mm front rotor (excellent stopping power and a big improvement over stock)
I also have a box of stock parts (original tank, plastics etc) as well as everything needed to swap between wheels including a speedo drive, kickstand etc. Swapping wheels takes about 30 - 40 minutes.
If you're looking at these bikes then you're probably aware of how fun and versatile they are. The current 17 inch wheels supermoto setup is ridiculously fun on the road. The 21/18 inch wheel setup is a power house on the trails (so I've been told by the internet - I'm not much good on dirt so I haven't taken the bike on anything more than a gravel road).
I was always interested in getting a DRZ and I spent a lot of time looking for the right one before landing on this one. The only reason for selling is that I have an opportunity to purchase my dream motorcycle so I want to free up some garage space.
For the asking price you're getting a well looked after DRZ that runs like new, heaps of extras, two sets of wheels (you're effectively getting two motorcycles) and a RWC.
