My greatly loved TRIUMPH TROPHY 1215 needs a new home. Only selling due to health issues.
The Limited Edition TT 1215 Standard is the thinking rider's Trophy, offering the "essential" luxuries in a very robust package. The 1215 does without the electronic suspension and audio / Bluetooth system of the SE model (not indicated in the Bikesales feature list). However, it certainly doesn't leave you feeling destitute and presents as an extremely classy, comfortable and capable machine with standard features including:
- Cruise Control
- quality WP adjustable suspension front and back
- shaft drive
- electrically adjustable windscreen and headlights
- Triumph robust and cavernous panniers
- 2 position adjustable seat height
- plenty of under-seat storage
- TPMS ready (just requires Triumph wheel sensors for an integrated system)
This bike is optioned with some additional goodies to set her up for long-haul touring. These include:
- an excellent Kappa (by Givi) Top Box
- Rad Guard radiator guard (fly screened to keep the bugs out)
- Triumph integrated heated grips
- front and rear fender extenders
- additional 12v accessory outlet
- K&N Air Filter
- bespoke Triumph tank bag
- new battery fitted November 2024
The TT is an awesome ride. She can lope along freeways with the cruise set and cover vast distances with ease. But that's not my thing. She has also proven to be a very agile machine when the road develops character. Added to that, it's surprisingly economical with a cruising range approaching 600 kms.
The Triumph Trophy is an incredibly capable and engaging touring machine with a good dose of sporting DNA. And this is a very good example that has been caressed and respected and fitted with a few nice touches. It has a few stone chips and scuff marks to indicate it's been used, but it still presents extremely well. She won't disappoint.
The bike has been fastidiously maintained and ridden sensibly. It has sat for the last 3 years while I battled a couple of health issues, hoping I'd be able to get back on board one day. But, reality has sunk in. The bike has been started regularly and still received annual oil changes.
At $10 000 (unregistered), this is excellent value and offers a lot of bike for the money.
I will provide a Safety Certificate and registration until May 2026 for $10 500.
Test pilots need not apply.
