The Suzuki GS500F is arguably one of the best budget, first-time, or commuter bikes, providing a solid, reliable, and "old school" riding experience that is both practical and enjoyable. It is a durable choice for riders looking for a "do-everything" bike on a budget. Has been a great commuter in good condition with low k's (13,600). Rides well and looks and feels bigger than most LAMS bikes. Bit of weathering on the bars & screen and crack in fairing (last photo) from a low speed driveway drop. Fresh service, carb's cleaned and new needle and seat set, new front Pirelli sport demon tyre, new steering stem bearings and comes with safety certificate (road worthy). The Suzuki GS500F is a highly regarded, budget-friendly parallel-twin commuter and beginner bike produced from 2004–2014, offering a fully-faired, sporty look with comfortable, upright ergonomics. It is renowned for its reliability, easy maintenance, and forgiving performance, featuring a 487cc air-cooled engine, 6-speed transmission, and a 20L fuel tank. Engine & Power: The 487cc air-cooled parallel-twin is air-cooled, carbureted (Mikuni BSR34), and produces enough power for city riding, commuting, and touring. Handling & Suspension: Known for agile handling, it suits new riders well, with front preload adjustability. Ergonomics & Comfort: It features a low 790mm seat height and, despite the fairings, offers a fairly upright, comfortable riding position.
