I’ve owned this 2010 Triumph Sprint 1050ST for 9 years and somehow only managed to average about 1,000 km a year. At this point it’s less a motorcycle and more a very elegant garage ornament.
It’s classic British engineering — not flashy or over-complicated, just tactile, honest and a bit earthy, in the best possible way. A genuinely beautiful bike to ride, and the 1050 triple is, in my opinion, one of the best engines ever made.
The problem isn’t the bike — it’s me. I just can’t justify keeping something this good to admire instead of ride. It deserves an owner who’ll actually turn the key more than once a month and remind it why it exists.
