This is my stunning 2008 Triumph Sprint. The Sprint was, and still is, regarded as one of the best sports-touring motorcycles around.
I’ve owned the bike for the past three years, having previously purchased it from a friend who also maintained it meticulously. I’m reluctantly selling it — I’d happily keep it — but with a young family, it’s time for it to go to someone who will care for it and enjoy it as much as I have.
The bike is extremely clean, low kms, has never been dropped, and has always been serviced well ahead of schedule. I’ve changed the oil and filter every six months or approximately every 2,000–3,000 km. With its 1050cc triple cylinder engine, the Sprint has plenty of power, delivered smoothly and across the entire rev range. It cruises effortlessly on the highway and also loves the winding, hilly roads.
The bike comes with panniers and a rear carry rack, making it ideal for long tours or road trips up the coast. It has always been stored undercover and indoors when not in use, so the paintwork and plastics are in excellent condition. Fork oil and dust seals have just been replaced, and I’ll also include a trickle charger and bike cover.
The bike will be sold with a current Roadworthy Certificate (RWC).
First to see will buy. Inspections and test rides are welcome (but drivers license and wallet to be kept by me while test riding).
Serious buyers only, will not respond to joyriders.
