A Future Classic
Penned by Pierre Terblanche - the designer behind the 999, the SportClassic and the Hypermotard - the Multistrada first generation with its unique look is becoming a classic.
Trellis frame, single sided swing arm, no ABS, no traction control, no engine map - it's an old school Ducati like they don't make them anymore.
Its big air-cooled V-Twin would not pass modern emission standards. The full Termignoni exhaust system sounds raw and glorious unlike modern Ducati.
Brembo brakes, Ohlins forks and rear shock, OEM hand guards, panniers and top box (same keys for all three) make it an ideal sports tourer for multi day trips.
Being a 2v engine it's also easy to work on and easy on gas making it a potential good commuter.
