Purchased as a project bike with 19000km. It had the usual low-km issues, but all electrical gremlins have been sorted — including a new rectifier and coil packs and sensors. DMoto has completed all major Desmo service works.
I’ve been reliably commuting 120km round trips across Sydney on it during the cooler months (May–October) for the past few years. As much as I love it, I’m getting older and need something with a more comfortable riding position.
It’s fitted with a full Termignoni Race 70mm exhaust and collectors kit, along with a race ECU (over $3,500 value) — easily one of the best-sounding bikes out there.
This is one of the last of the raw Ducati machines — incredible to ride, sounds amazing, and looks the part.
The not-so-good:
Previous owner dropped it doing a U-turn in his driveway (apparently). There are scuffs on the right fairing and rear tail. I’ve been planning to respray or possibly go with an aftermarket kit — would come up mint. Just with kids and building a house
Just haven’t had the time.
I’d love to keep it, but I need a more suitable commuter (MT-07, MT-09 or similar). Open to sensible swaps
