The VTR1000 SP2 built between 2002–2006 by HRC ( Honda's Racing Corporation ) was designed too and succeeded in winning the Superbike World Championship. A limited amount was manufactured to meet homologation rules and because most were tracked, raced and crashed very few completely original ones survived.
Never ridden, and never registered by me, this particular bike, near immaculate and completely original, is the last model ever made in 7/2005. The kilometres are original and no Speedo healer rubbish. I am a collector and have not ridden this bike. To give you some idea of how long it has remained unridden for; I have fitted brand Rosso III tyres on it to replace the blued and cracked original Rosso tyres circa 2008. Always set on a centre stand, the motor has a weekly start-up schedule. The pictures you see are "as is"- I have not washed or polished it for at least 6 months. It sits under a bike cover and a blanket in a fully enclosed carport. Classified as A1 this machine is a true investment.
