Bought as a collectors item, never ridden personally and considered personally and by many to be the "most beautiful motorcycle ever built" due to its 916 lineage design, the 998S FE holds strong value in the collector's market. Its status as the final variation of a legendary model run ensures high demand among Ducati enthusiasts.
Only 2372 kms on the clock and in immaculate condition. Comes with original tyres and termi pipes but also has brand new Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tyres and Carbon Termignoni end pipes as extra.
After a decade of unrivalled success from what was described as “the world’s most sexy motorcycle”, Ducati built a fitting book-end to their now famous 1994 916 Desmoquattro Superbike, the 998S Final Edition.
Using the World Championship winning 996R Testastretta engine, the 998 FE benefited from all the usual high-end equipment, Ohlin’s suspension both ends, Ohlin’s steering dampener, lightened Brembo brake rotors, carbon belly-pan etc.
A mere 562 monoposto Final Editions were ever produced for the world, making them one of the smallest production runs for the Bologna factory. This spectacularly original example is a one owner and travelled less than 2,500k’s!!
Sales and demand for the entire 916 to 998 range have seen enormous growth across the globe, and as history has proven, the highest demand & values are reserved for the first and last of any significant model.
