This bike is one the first of the 998S models built in Dec. 2001 at the Ducati Bologna factory and dealer delivered to Australia in January 2002, as a Biposto version. It is one 998S of only 30 that were ever factory shipped to Australia (apart from the later 998 FE’s versions).
This Ducati 998S comes with the factory Testastretta spec. engine with performance deep sump sand cast crankcases and narrow angle heads (producing a power output at 136hp) and is fitted with a factory Ohlins Rear Shock Absorber, Showa front forks, Ohlins Steering damper and light weight Marchesini Alloy Rims currently fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres (760 kms old)
This is an extremely collectible and rapidly appreciating bike that has only travelled 22,198kms that will suit an enthusiast, collector or investor. Headstock signed by Troy Bayliss (2018). Meticulously maintained and always garaged. It has never been dropped or raced. Serviced annually at a Ducati Specialist Centre with all service records available.
All original sales documents, owner manuals, brochures, factory tool kit, factory workshop manual and factory parts catalogue are included.

Two Factory OEM Carbon Fibre Belly Pans (one with 2002 WSB decals)
