Golly, what a ride.
She has been absolutely well loved and turned into a striking cafe racer - apparently by the Deus crew (before I owned her).
Aftermarket dash, exhaust, seat, wrap, handlebars. New dash reads about 5000km, I turfed the old unit which read 42,000.
Sounds a hell of a lot better than my Ducati.
Recently serviced (1000ks ago), and just this morning put a new front tire, chain tighten and lube, wheel alignment and safety check from the crew at Two Wheels. New pads not long ago, too.
As a light 250, it's not made for touring, but has been a dream for commuting and city rides. Took it to York, but wouldn't recommend much further than that.
Is she perfect? Of course not. But who is!
Shows her age with some surface rust, a small peel in the tank wrap, and the bar end mirrors could do with being replaced. Needs a little choke on cold mornings or if left alone for a while. No fuel gauge either, but I've never run out of gas - just watch your k's.
This was my first bike, and the one I learned on. Would be a perfect learner for you too, or someone who just needs something classy underneath them.
Very regretful sale - can't fit it in my carport any longer, and soon to go for R class.
PS it's a Honda.
