Why wouldn't you want this bike? It's the burger with the lot! And it's red - they go faster!!
It has
• the hi flow fuel chip from the 916R;
• the matching after-market race exhaust pipes to help it breathe better;
• 50mm risers on the handlebars to make it even more comfortable for touring, with extended brake and clutch lines.
All the original gear comes with it (fuel chip, pipes, handlebar mounts), and, as a bonus, it still has the original panniers in near perfect condition. The original owner’s manual also comes with it, as does the wheel lock and tool kit which are both still under the seat.
The chain and sprockets, tyres and brakes are all in good condition.
It’s been regularly serviced and maintained by Gowanloch Ducati, and invoices/receipts are available.
There are some minor negatives: a small scratch on the RH mirror, a mark on the LH pannier, and a small paint chip near the fuel filler cap which has been repaired.
It’s a genuine 2 owner machine – my brother bought it new, and I bought it off him a few years later, so we know its full history.
All in all, it’s the catch of the day; a cheap way to get into the high-end sports tourers with heaps of grunt and a pleasure to ride, whether you’re taking a relaxed stroll up the Pacific Highway M1 or chasing the thrills on the winding backroads between Khancoban and Thredbo!
