An iconic homologation Ducati with genuine low kilometres and all the right provenance. This 2001 Ducati 748R is a true collector-grade example showing just under **2,500kms from new**, presenting in excellent overall condition and retaining all OEM components.
Originally imported from the UK, the bike has had the dash professionally replaced from MPH to KPH for Australian use. Importantly, all original paperwork, documentation, and supporting parts verify the genuine mileage.
The bike remains exceptionally original and has clearly been well cared for throughout its life. There are a few small marks on the left-hand side consistent with minor garage/storage dings, but nothing that detracts from the overall presentation of this incredibly clean and honest example.
The 748R was Ducati’s true race-bred homologation model, developed directly from their World Supersport program and built in limited numbers with significantly upgraded engine and chassis components over the standard 748 models.
