Great fun
Classic Triumph British Racing Green, with gorgeous single rear arm sports tourer
"Upgrade" to the Daytona 955i.
PROS
Mechanically very good, acceleration fast and linear, handles beautifully, and brakes well
Engine compression 175psi for each cylinder, which is is roughly mid point of desired range of 150-200psi
New Tyres less than 1,000 km ago
New disc pads all round - 1,000km ago
New front fork seals - April 26
New Chain and sprocket - 2,000km
Upgrade to Daytona with vinyl stickers
Bar raisers (gives a more comfortable ride for touring)
Usual engine, brake oil and air filter changes
Staintune exhaust (with internal muffler that can be removed)

CONS
Fairings resprayed after repair
Some hairline cracks which have been there a while
Fuel gauge has stopped working (using trip meter)
Seat needs re covering (vinyl bought but haven't fitted yet)
I have had lots of fun riding this for the last 5 years around town and on tour , but have recently upgraded to newer bike. (I'm not sure the GSX S1000F is that much better!)
