Mechanically very good, acceleration fast and linear, handles beautifully, and brakes well
Engine compression 175psi for each cylinder, which is is roughly mid point of desired range of 150-200psi
New Tyres less than 1,000 km ago
New disc pads all round - 1,000km ago

Upgrade to Daytona with vinyl stickers
Bar raisers (gives a more comfortable ride for touring)

CONS
Fairings resprayed after repair
Some hairline cracks which have been there a while
Fuel gauge has stopped working (using trip meter)
Seat needs re covering (vinyl bought but haven't fitted yet)
I have had lots of fun riding this for the last 5 years around town and on tour , but have recently upgraded to newer bike. (I'm not sure the GSX S1000F is that much better!)
