AS NEW! Just released from a Collection
This very rare example of the SB8R has just three miles on the odometer! The bike was bought new by an Australian Bimota enthusiast and never registered. We're pleased to now offer this highly-prized Bimota for sale - the second one to come to us in as many weeks.
The SB8R is the bike that Bimota built to win the World Superbike Series in 1999. The great Anthony Gobert did not disappoint when he recorded Bimota’s only WSBK win at Phillip Island in 2000.
These bikes have a very rare carbon composite and aluminium frame. Fitted with the best forks, wheels and accessories available in the day and powered by Suzuki’s V-Twin TL1000R engine producing 133 HP, it was and still is a superb example of Bimota's craftsmanship. Number 52 of 150 made, this bike is from the second and final year of production.
