I am selling this Yamaha roadster (XV1600A) and the reason for selling it is due to the passing of my late friend who was a talented stonemason and who had a love for all things motors. This cruiser was one of many of his bikes and fortunately for the new owner, has hardly been used having only 10,500km OD reading.
It is in impeccable condition given its age ... this bike is for a specific buyer so please ensure to read the following description to ensure you are the right person for it.
This bike would appeal to certain individuals as it has custom features including stainless steel saddle bags lined in black leather with three stainless steel buckles. They were hand crafted for the bike.
What was done to the bike recently:
1. About $3000 (fully documented) reconditioned (nothing major; new tyres, fluids - starter motor).
2. Electrics were checked over and parts replaced.
3. It is registered until February 2026, and I ride it regularly for short trips to ensure that the fluids and petrol are always in good condition.
4. It has twin front disk brakes for its size unlike other bikes in that category.
5. The reliability of Yamaha when compared other classic cruiser bikes is superior.
6. This cruiser comes with good size windshield and pillion seat with back rest.
7. Performance: outperforms other big V-twin bikes in that category.
The most important things to remember:
