Up for sale is my “pride and joy” a very pampered limited edition (#466) out of only 1100 produced Chief from the arguably most desired Indian motorcycles era in Gilroy, California. The Gilroy time (1998 to 2003) was the only time when the motorcycles were assembled in California with an S&S engine, (Harley Davidson also used them) so they are uncomplicated to fix and spare parts are very easy to obtain. This bike has been imported from Hawaii by myself and I am only the second owner of this Chief. I rode the motorcycle for the last 20 years and only ride it about once a month. (Hence the very, very low mileage!) It has been meticulously serviced every six month by my passionate local and highly qualified Ex Harley mechanic. The distressed buffalo leather on the bike was custom ordered from Canada and is made to last. The white wall tires are “Avon Gangster” which were the widest white wall on the market and are now discontinued. Unfortunately, I am getting older and don’t feel comfortable riding bikes anymore.
Here is your chance to own a piece of unique motorcycle history! Zero negotiations before seeing the bike first! Thank you for your interest.
