This Ducati is open to fair offers. It needs to be sold in the coming months before our house is sold.
Over $42K has been spent with receipts available. I don't expect that sort of money but still need to sell. The next owner will get a one-of a-kind special.
This bike has a new engine of 944 capacity. Extensive and expensive engine work has been completed by Bevan Coleman from Euro Twins Gladstone. I have put this together in collaboration with him and he has checked the bike over and has ridden it himself. A roadworthy will be supplied by Bevan.
Every bearing has been replaced in the engine gear box and in the wheels and chassis. New 944 pistons.
Suspension, front and back, has been fully re-worked by MPE Caloundra.
Corbin seat.
Ignitech ignition.
Sports Motorcycle camshafts for torque and midrange.
New clutch.
Rewound alternator.
Keihin FCR 41 carbs.
New adjustable pulleys and belts.
Metal coatings are anodising, ceramic or Cerakote.
Flywheel slightly lightened.
Cases vapour blasted.
All bolts torqued to specification.
Dyno tuned by Bevan.
For aesthetic reasons I replaced the front guard with a 916 item. The coffin brake M/C is new and slightly larger and brakes are excellent. Hel bars with a little more height are fitted.
I have yet to put the correct speedo cable on it. The bike has sat for a year + now and due to a medical condition I won't be putting it on the road. Plenty of spares come with the bike. Some may be sold off in the interim.
