Reluctantly selling my 1994 Suzuki GSX750F. Classic oil-cooled sports tourer, black with purple seat and wheels. I bought the bike around 10 years ago as a non-runner with a blown engine. Since then, it has had a complete and proper mechanical rebuild.
The engine and carburettors were sourced from a 2000 GSX750F and completely rebuilt and machined, including all new seals and gaskets throughout. The transmission was also fully rebuilt at the same time. The brakes were rebuilt with new boots, seals, and braided brake lines fitted. After getting it roadworthied and registered, I rode it approximately 2000km before it went into storage.
It's been sitting for around 5 years, but I've recently recommissioned it: cleaned the carbs and fuel tank, fitted a new battery and it now runs and idles well. The odo reads ~60,000km but this reflects the frame, not the rebuilt engine.
Cosmetically it's in good condition overall.
Included in the sale: tank/saddle bag and workshop manuals for both the 1994 and 2000 GSX750F.
Being sold unregistered and without a roadworthy certificate so is priced accordingly. Would suit someone who wants a mechanically solid bike to register and ride, or a project rider who appreciates work that's already been done properly.
