If you are looking at this bike you must know all about it
Number 446 of the firts 1000 built..Yes comes with carbon key and rear stand.
Also commemorative Honda RC30 Helmet may be included in the sale
As a kid I couldnt afford one but I always wanted to have one...Bought it in late 2010 with 10117 kms..now is sitting on 12846..
When I bought it back then,I had the fuel tank and front fairing repainted as well as the bottom belly..this is over 15 years ago and it still looks like new.
Just recently,as I'm now retired,I've done the followings (I've been a mechanic and business owner for over 40 years.)
-First job I removed instruments assembly and replaced cushion with original part.
I then removed all parts to access and replaced rocker covers seals also with original parts.When the covers were off, I
actually had some paint made up and I repainted them as they had some marks..they look new
valves' clearance was also checked and all perfect.
-Replaced spark plugs as I did replaced them back in 2010..
-New engine oil and filter,new coolant,new rectifier gasket.New clutch slave cylinder piston and seal.
-New fuel tap,new part from Honda refurbishing program..the old one still work and will be included when (if ) I sell the
bike .Also new Honda Genuine windscreen..
-Fork seals and dusts seals replaced and obviously new fluid.Both fork cylinders were water blasted so the look like new. All parts cleaned and polished but kept in original conditions.
-Removed all rear swing arm parts,cleaned and lubricated .All part you see have been just cleaned or polished where applys
I did repaint the rear springs as there were some marks ,that is why I pulled all the rear end off to begin with.
-Every nut and bolt I removed has been cleaned and polished to keep all in original condition.
I fitted new forged aluminium rims and front axle shaft from Dholda of Belgium few years ago.Both rims are now 17inch so one can fit decent tyres!
Forged foot pegs also from Dholda
Full Termignoni exhaust system fitted ,sounds amazing.
All original parts included,such as rims with tyres and exhaust system.Also Japanese mirrors are included
I do not have the original foot pegs and never had and frankly the one fitted are 100 times better.I do have few new parts as well as aftermarket ones.I believe OEM foot pegs are available..
Small crack under the belly on the Lh side. Fairly common
I think the price reflect the conditions of my bike and the history.It now looks beautiful on the outside as well as under the covers..
Looking to find the next person to look after and admire this piece of motorcycle history
No dreamers and I'm not in a hurry to sell.
I have plenty of extra photos if someone needs them..
