The legendary XS 1.1 ! In excellent condition with original exhaust!
Immense Power and Torque: The 1100cc air-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine was its standout feature, producing around 95 horsepower and offe huge low-end and mid-range power. This enabled the bike to be one of the quickest production motorcycles of its time, capable of sub-12-second quarter-mile runs.
Smooth and Civilized Operation: Despite its beastly power, reviewers noted the engine was rubber-mounted, quiet, and notably smooth with minimal vibration, contributing to a pleasant riding experience.
Excellent for Tou: The bike was recognized by Cycle World as the "Best Tou Bike" in 1978 and 1979. Its long wheelbase, well-padded seat, and comfortable riding position made it well-suited for long road trips.
Low Maintenance Drivetrain: The bike featured a smooth, reliable, and "bulletproof" shaft drive system that required minimal maintenance, a significant plus for tou and everyday use compared to chain-driven rivals.
