1978 Yamaha SR500 (as per Australian compliance plate) fitted with sr400 engine. Beautiful, tidy & unique 'cafe racer inspired style' bike with tasteful & quality mods. Head turner and conversation starter. Set up with 'café racer styling', but with a slightly more 'prone' (comfortable) riding position, however the bars can be adjusted to suit your preferred riding style. *Unique fibreglass tank with professional custom paint job, (tank alone is over $2000 worth) *Daytona speedo *Peyton Place seat (optional cafe style seat with cowl as seen in images) *Bug screen *Clubman 'Ace' bars & silicone grips *Bar end mirrors *USB phone cradle *SS shorty front guard *TSK HP rear shocks *Air adjustable front forks *Daytona LED indicators *Quality aftermarket headlight and brackets *Desirable spoked wheels with double leading edge front brake & drum brake rear *Hot dog/cocktail shaker muffler, (Sounds sweet as and not too loud) *Chrome side stand & engine guard The pics show the bike with both seat options but I do have another 'Nitro Heads' seat too not shown Everything works as it should and has been fastidiously maintained by OCD owner Starts easily, hot or cold, (These bikes are kick start only). Very good, clean and solid engine. Currently fitted with OEM carb jetted to suit the muffler and OEM air box. Optional Mikuni flat slide TM36-68 available for cost, gives some added grunt, not unlike an SR500, (I have both) All paintwork, incl' frame, in exceptional condition and with good clean wiring too. (No cuts or mods to frame) Located in Aireys Inlet 3231 Currently on Victorian club permit so not transferable, (Cost around $80 a year). Can arrange RWC by negotiation. No joy rides or test ride without upfront cash payment.
