This Stunning 1978 GS1000 is part of a private collection and has undergone a careful and detailed ground up restoration to show bike standard. Every part has been inspected, repaired, repainted, re-plated, or replaced. No expense has been spared and this bike was built to keep, not to sell! But due to a change in circumstances I will very reluctantly let it go. All paintwork is in 2k and/or candy with a 2k clear coat. Far too many parts to list but all bearings, bushes, seals, cables, hoses, service kits, and spokes and many more parts have been replaced where needed. Bolts, nuts, and other parts have been re-zinc coated and re-chromed as required. Engine and frame numbers are correct and I also believe the 14,779 kms to be correct. Completely standard apart from the Delkevic exhaust It has been test ridden after completion and all electrical systems work as they should, fuel drained and displayed inside ever since. Located at Craigburn Farm SA.
