1968 BSA Spitfire for sale. Very correct and original bike in excellent condition, matching numbers and correct Borrani alloy rims for 1968, twin leading shoe front brake. It is fitted with a reproduction steel fuel tank but the original fibre glass tank is included, cosmetically it’s in good nick but has a few leaks and would need attention. I believe it has genuine mileage of approx 22,400 miles. This bike had a ground up restoration, and was totally stripped down to the last nut and bolt in the late 1990's or early 2000's, paperwork for the restoration is included. Since then it has done less than 4000 miles. Recent recommissioning work includes top end rebuild, rebore, new pistons/rings, new SRM oil pump and oil filter fitted, also new tyres and tubes. Starts easily and rides very well, a very clean and rideable classic bike.
