BMW Archives record that R67/2 VIN 614213 was manufactured on 20 May 1953 and delivered on 30 June 1953 to the Australian BMW importer L. F. Pratt Motorcycles Pty. Ltd. in Geelong, Victoria. It is one of the finest examples of this era motorcycle in Australia and is one of 4,232 motorcycles built between 1952 and 1954.
The motorcycle has matching frame and engine numbers. It has been meticulously restored to a practical finish, including the total rebuild of the motor to meet original factory specifications. No expense spared with the original crankshaft sent to the Netherlands for specialist restoration. Engine, gearbox and wheel hub and rear drive have been glass blasted, giving a beautiful sheen to the metal alloy and the frame has been powder coated.
Pagusa front and new rear saddle seats and all chrome shines like its new. Tyres and brakes are new. Comes with Service Manual, Spares Catalogue, Riders Manual and original BMW toolkit.
