I have just sold my Honda CBR250R! I didn't exaclty get the price I wanted but I guess you never really can on a roughly 15 year old bike. I wanted to thank you for your Internet service and ad update facility. My Honda was in really good condition and ran really well, as I guess most people would say about their bike, but I'm sure it was up there with the best of them. I was always able to change my ad and details when necessary and usually within 30 minutes it was updated and confirmed. It was the second time I advertised with you (for the same bike) and I had a few photo issues the first time which you were only too happy to assist me with, very promptly I might add.... I am a student pilot and the money from the bike sale will assist me greatly in achieving my goal, thanks to an affordable Internet advertisement with bikesales. It was actually realistic for me to be able to advertise my bike affordably, instead of $135 for an ad (in the paper) with a picture for two weeks (as you know pictures are worth a thousand words with things like this).
Thank you for taking the time to read my mail and trust you can continue to provide a top service for the riders of Australia. No doubt will be back to use your service at some stage.

I would like to thank BIKESALES.COM.AU for helping me sell my bike. It took LESS than a WEEK!!. I would recommend this site to anyone wanting sell any kind of bike and (like me) have not tried the Internet before. Definitely no more ads in the paper for me!! Thanks for providing a great, economical way for people to sell their bikes. I have another bike listed currently and I am sure that it will also sell quickly thanks to the feedback I get when I log in to see the statistics of the times the ad has been viewed. Isn't it just great when things go good! Last week my partner Andy and I attended the bike show at 'Jeff's Shed'. Andy had decided to sell his Honda CB250, so I wrote out a quick ad and printed a photo - just in case there might be someone at the bike show who was interested. I really had no idea what I was going to do with it.
Not long after arriving we ended up at the www.bikesales.com.au stand and met a charming young lady who suggested we put the bike on their website. Andy and I both agreed that the $10 would be money well spent. (We had previously advertised the bike in our local paper, without a photo, and it cost us $14 for one week - and we received no calls whatsoever.) The young lady told us that the bike would stay on the site until it was sold. Then she told us that because we had chosen that day to place our ad we would go in the draw for a fantastic bike jacket.
When we arrived home I tried to download a photo of the bike to go on the ad (at no extra charge!) - Alas to no avail! I emailed www.bikesales.com.au and explained my dilemma and they suggested I email a photo to them and they would put it on the ad for us (at no extra charge!)
From the moment the photo appeared on the ad the phone started ringing. We sold the bike on Thursday night, 4 days after the ad was placed. Andy rang me today from work to ask me to remove the ad to stop the barrage of calls.
Oh yes, I nearly forgot. On Thursday afternoon I received a text message from Andy: "Guess who won the jacket?" Yes, you guessed it - me!
I cannot thank www.bikesales.com.au enough. Their staff are friendly and did not hesitate to assist us with any problem that arose.
If you want to sell your bike, www.bikesales.com.au offer a great service and from the calls we received I would say that a great number of people use this site when looking to purchase a used bike.

Within two weeks of advertising my bike, I'd had more phone calls and offers
than I could deal with given I was away from home at the time. By the time I got back,

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of selling
my bike on bikesales.com.au.
I had placed ads online and in print with the Trading Post and I
received no email replies. I had a phone call from a potential buyer
in Sydney, but we ended up going no-where.
I placed print ads in the local paper (The Advertiser) at a cost of
$34 over seven days and I didn't get a call!
I placed a free ad on the site on Monday and I received an email from
a buyer in Newcastle on Tuesday.
I received an SMS from a buyer in Adelaide late last night. I returned
his call and made a time for him to look at the bike.
We ended up agreeing on a price and he paid me a deposit on the spot.
I had to disappoint the buyer from Newcastle, he was arranging for a
friend in Adelaide to inspect the bike today! (I did get a call today
from the print ad, after selling the bike in two days on
bikesales.com.au!)
I wish I had another bike to sell, Bikesales Rocks!
The bike sold even before I had a chance to put a pic on the site!

What a great site.

Easily the best Australian bike market on the web.
I have so far bought one bike and sold one bike, and each way the
experience has been excellent.
I sold my BMW within 2 days of listing it, and the GSX-R I bought had
only been listed 2 hours beforehand. I got the price I wanted and paid
a price I was very happy with - what more could you want?
Additionally, I also contacted bikesales in regard to a technical
issue and got an accurate answer within a few hours. I couldn't be
